MicroFluor · Microplastic Morphology Analyzer

ImageJ-equivalent particle analysis for fluorescence photomicrographs: 8-bit conversion, per-image threshold, binary particle detection, then Area, Perimeter, Feret's diameter, bounding rectangle, aspect ratio and circularity per particle — classified as fibre, sphere, pellet or fragment. Each image keeps its own settings; everything runs locally in your browser and images are never uploaded.

Values below become the starting settings for images you add next.

1 · Set scale

Equivalent to ImageJ Analyze > Set Scale.

2 · Threshold

Grayscale ≥ threshold counts as fluorescent signal. The Binary view previews this value for the selected image; results only change when you re-analyze it.

3 · Particle filters

4 · Per-image analysis

Select an image in the list to edit and re-analyze that image on its own. The values above are the defaults (1 µm/px · threshold 100) used for images you add next.

5 · Add micrographs

Batch analysis only touches images that have never been analyzed. Analyzed images keep their measurements, rejections and AI review until you re-analyze them individually.

GPT-5 · online only

Sends each particle's measurements plus a zoomed crop with its detected outline to GPT-5, which confirms the fibre/sphere/pellet/fragment call and flags overlapping particles, incomplete outlines, border contact and fluorescence unlike the positive controls. Blank matches are sent along as visual evidence; uncertain objects are always kept.
